Facebook posted it on Github its platform for the CTF Facebook CTF
Facebook CTF is a platform for the organization of competitions of CTF (capture the flag), namely two varieties of it:
the
-
the
- Jeopardy — classic CTF with a set of tasks. Access next can only be correctly determined earlier; the
- King of the Hill — view of a CTF in which you want the maximum time to retain control over the compromised system; the point is that the system periodically regenerates as, "dumping" of participants with the level at which they managed to get.
Immediately the most important thing, in my opinion: no, Facebook CTF does not contain assignments itself, and no, this is not a framework for creating jobs. This is essentially a management interface process of the CTF, not more. However, a small number of ready tasks is also available in the repository FBCTF, but they are just to illustrate.
Better look two-minute video.
in short, it provides FBCTF
the
-
the
- registration of participants and teams the
- the posting of information on jobs the
- system announcements and hint the
- check flags, scoring, leaderboard — real-time the
- cool interface
the Platform is running on (expected) HHVM and Flow. The installation instructions are the same, on Github. For devel environment recommend the use of VirtualBox and Vagrant, and prod need Ubuntu 14.04 (but, I think, and on the other debianish is to fly).
by the Way, FB CTF is included in the the Facebook bug bounty program.
